Product Features

The Spacebar Clicker starts with one point per press and grows into an automated keyboard factory through smart upgrades.

Instant points

Every clean keyboard press, mouse click, or tap adds points immediately—there is no timer or round limit.

Automatic helpers

Recruit helpers that keep pressing for you and increase your passive points per second.

Live production rate

Your total, manual press power, automatic presses per second, and production stage update as soon as you buy an upgrade.

Persistent progress

Your run is saved in this browser. Returning players earn 25% of their automatic rate for up to eight hours away.

Progressive shop

The next helper appears as your economy grows, with ×1, ×10, and Max purchase modes for every stage of the run.

Manual power upgrades

Keyboard upgrades double the value of your own presses while automated tools keep producing in parallel.

Unified game audio

The project-wide click effect provides consistent feedback, while the background melody has a remembered control.

Keyboard and touch

Use your keyboard, mouse, or touchscreen. Holding the key down does not repeatedly add manual points.

Spacebar Clicking Guide

What is Spacebar Clicker?

Spacebar Clicker is an endless incremental game. You begin with one point per manual press, spend those points on upgrades, and gradually automate production.

How does the upgrade loop work?

Press the physical or on-screen spacebar to earn points. Once you can afford a helper, buy it to add automatic presses per second. Each copy costs more than the last, so compare its added production with its current price. Use ×1 for precise spending, ×10 for faster scaling, or Max to buy as many copies as your balance allows.

What is the goal?

There is no finish line or timed result. The goal is to grow from manual presses into a high-output automated setup and reach increasingly powerful helpers.

How to improve your spacebar speed?

  • Buy your first low-cost helper early so points keep arriving between manual presses.
  • Compare an upgrade's added presses per second with its current cost.
  • Balance automatic production with Keyboard Upgrade purchases that strengthen manual presses.
  • Save for the next helper when its production gain is more efficient than another early upgrade.
  • Keep your wrist relaxed; automation is part of the intended progression.

Upgrade Progression

Automatic helpers add presses per second, while Keyboard Upgrade doubles the value of your own manual presses. Prices rise after every purchase, and advanced helpers also become stronger with each additional copy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Use these notes to understand points, automatic production, upgrades, saves, and controls.

What does presses per second mean?

It is the number of points your purchased automatic helpers generate each second. Manual presses are shown separately as points per press.

Does the game have an ending?

No. This is an incremental clicker, so the score keeps growing while the page is open and your goal is to unlock stronger automation.

Why do upgrade prices increase?

Every copy adds more production, so its next price rises. The efficiency note helps you compare the current cost of different helpers.

Is my progress uploaded anywhere?

No. Your score and upgrades are stored locally in this browser. They stay on this device unless you reset the game or clear browser data.

Does holding the spacebar increase the score?

No. Only a fresh key press adds manual points, which prevents browser key repeat from inflating the score.

What does Keyboard Upgrade do?

Each purchase doubles the points earned by your own keyboard, mouse, or touch presses. It does not multiply automatic production.

What do ×10 and Max purchase modes do?

×10 buys exactly ten copies when you can afford the combined rising cost. Max buys as many copies as your current balance allows. Both modes use the same per-copy price and production formulas as buying one at a time.

How does offline progress work?

If you already own an automatic helper, it earns 25% of its normal production while the page is closed or hidden. Offline earnings are capped at eight hours per absence.

What are automation stages?

Your stage is a long-term production milestone based on total automatic presses per second. It does not multiply income or change upgrade prices; it shows how far your production line has progressed.

Can I mute the sounds?

The background music has its own remembered switch. Click feedback uses the project's standard game sound.
